Dance and Gym Class

Mickey has been in a dance & gym class since August. She has really enjoyed tap dancing and also proved herself to be very good at gymnastics. It is fun to see her have fun and be intense as she is learning new skills. We are taking a bit of break and will be looking for a class that will offer her more in the fall. Most likely it will be a class focused on just dance or gym.... or two classes that she can attend that will be one of each. I am just not sure which direction to go. I am not going back to the same place. It is a great concept and if the teaching was adequate would be great but I feel like there are more children in the class that needs to be. So I wasn't to pleased with the program, I think that Mickey had a blast and will look forward to when she can go back and learn some more.

Here are few snap shots...

Cowboy Days

A few weeks ago we went to the Cowboy Days at our local Farm and Ranch Museum. We always have a good time when we go. I think we are raising a little cowgirl, which is odd since I am not a cowgirl. But she loves her horses and animals. I also played with some new actions that I got from the Pioneer Woman that added a little something to the pictures. It was fun to play around with them. :)

Here are the pictures from the day... hope you enjoy them.

Grandma Chole's Bread

Mickey has been sick, AGAIN. She is tired of being sick as well as momma is. This week it has been stomach junk. Thankfully Grammie Syl came to help out which helps out this momma. As I am not feeling well at all either. Mickey loves her Grammie Syl time which is so nice.

Yesterday, we got out the ingredients to make Grandma Chole's bread. Now this bread is a cross between a biscuit and a cookie. But in my family it is a favorite. Both Grammie Syl and Mickey like to be in the kitchen so this was a good activity for them both. I got to take a few pictures of the process and it was fun and a great tasting outcome.

Apparently Mickey decided that prayer is how we should start off with. :)
